What does the Nueces County Appraisal District (NCAD) Do?

The Nueces County Appraisal District (District, CAD) was established in 1979 by the Texas Legislature with the Board of Directors meeting for the first time on March 20, 1980. The District is responsible for appraising property in Nueces County for ad valorem tax purposes of the state and of each taxing unit that imposes ad valorem taxes. The District is an independent political subdivision of the State of Texas.

When is Early Voting?

Early voting will be from Monday, April 22nd through Tuesday, April 30th.

When is Election Day?

7am to 7pm on Saturday, May 4th, 2024

We are now able to vote for NCAD Board Members! What happened?

State law changed which created Elected Positions for the first time in Texas! New Elected positions in the Nueces County Appraisal District Board are Place 1, Place 2 and Place 3. James is running for Place 1, a county wide position.

What area would I need to live in to vote for James?

The NCAD Board - Place 1 will represent the entire Nueces County. If you are registered to vote in Nueces County, you can vote for James Magill!
